Now go ahead and install OBSE, since it won't hurt anything and it will be there if you get a mod that needs it. Now start installing your other mods, and use BOSS to order them each time. Disabling it from the data files prevents the crash. Through process of elimination it seems the esp for the unofficial patch for Knights of the Nine DLC is the cause. After enabling all the esps the game crashes when starting. Give it a test, it should work wonderfully. So I manually installed the three unofficial patches for Oblivion. Now install your unofficial patch, and have BOSS order everything. Next, get BOSS from the Nexus forums and install it. It will put everything that matters back nice and clean, without installing the entire game again. Then go into the "Data" folder below that, and delete everything including all the folders. The easiest way to do that, is go into the "Oblivion" folder, and delete all the FILES. Sometimes the best solution is to start clean. Without knowing your setup, I'd say you have mod order conflicts. (PS: Oblivion is somewhat better than Skyrim xD) It was slightly better but still no way like without UOP and since it's one of the most recommended mod, I can only conclude that I f*cked up somewhere but what ?
